The main CHI PLAY conference (November 3rd-5th) will take place in the Maritim Hotel & Congress Centrum but please note that the opening keynote will be held at the University of Bremen on the evening of November 2nd. Further information about both venues is provided below
University of Bremen (opening keynote)
The Opening keynote and the welcome reception for CHI PLAY 2022 will be held at the University of Bremen. Both events will take place in the MZH building (LINK). With the keynote taking place in lecture hall 1400 and the reception in the facilities of the DMLab (https://www.uni-bremen.de/en/dmlab) on the 6th floor of the building.
Travel – Public Transport:
From the main station (Bremen Hauptbahhof) you can take tram 6, direction Universität. The nearest stop being Universität Zentralbereich.

Maritim Hotel & Congress Centrum (main venue)
CHIPLAY 2022 will take place in the historic town of Bremen. The conference’s venue is the Maritim Hotel & Congress Centrum located near the town’s central station, which is only a short distance from the airport and right in front of the beautiful Bürgerpark.
The Maritim Hanse Saal is the largest hall in the Congress Centrum Bremen. The seminar rooms of the Maritim Hotel offer obvious advantages, such as natural daylight and optional darkening.
How to the Congress Bremen (main conference):
Travel – Public Transport: When arriving by train to Bremen Hauptbahnhof (main station), you can easily reach Congress Bremen by foot (10 minute walk). When traveling to the convention centre from within the city, there are multiple options (tram 5 direction: Bürgerpark, bus 27 direction: Weidedamm-Nord) with the nearest stop being Bremen Messe-Zentrum right next to the conference building.
